In addition to the famous hot air balloons, cappadocia is known for its unique “cave hotels”. The geology of Cappadocia is of sandstone that can easily be carved. For that reason many civilizations in the early times carved homes into mountain sides, and underground. Being able to visit thes unique structures is amazing. And while you are at it stay in a modern “cave hotel” for an experience you will not forget.
